Recently, the concept of AI Agent continues to be popular. SOL and Base have occupied the AI ​​agent development position, and have launched multiple high-quality AI Agent accounts and meme coins with high market value. Starting with trailblazers like @truth_terminal, then moving to excellent accounts like @luna_virtuals, @aixbt_agent, and the innovative formats introduced by @0xzerebro, to unexpected creations like @divinediarrhea and @freysa_ai—this rabbit hole has attracted a growing number of crypto enthusiasts and AI practitioners. As @0xPrismatic once wrote in his article, this is no longer just a cultural phenomenon but a meeting ground for people from entirely different worlds. Based on recent data on mindshare from CT compiled by @_kaitoai, an AI Agent ranked second on the KOL leaderboard—it was @aixbt_agent, outranking figures like @saylor and @cz_binance. @ayyyeandy joked, “What a time to be alive,” but I think it might not be just a joke. Humanity, you should beware.

Looking at the ever-rising token price of @aixbt_agent, one cannot help but conclude that this is more than a mere meme coin. People are genuinely paying for its information, and others are becoming its loyal followers. A striking shift is evident: whenever a token-related message is posted, followers immediately buy in—and many profit. This creates positive feedback: the AI Agent becomes a signal-calling KOL, leading its followers to success and wealth, reinforcing their faith in the signals it provides. Meanwhile, human signal-callers are left in the dust, as the age of the AI Agent as a KOL/Influencer has arrived.

Where there is traffic, there is an exchange of commercial value. In the crypto space, human KOLs charge between a few hundred to several thousand dollars per tweet, yet their content is often homogenized and inconsistent in quality. In contrast, AI Agent KOLs can deliver tweets at a lower cost, with higher frequency, quality, and richer content, while offering more diverse dissemination methods and formats. Interestingly, many creators behind AI Agents have recently started recording blogs, participating in AMAs, and giving interviews to share the stories and creative processes behind these AI Agents. It feels like watching a Blackpink documentary, with YG Entertainment’s CEO narrating how the four members were first chosen. Initially experimental, this process will evolve into a mature industry through community consensus. Sound familiar? It’s the formula for the idol industry. Right now, we’re in a chaotic consolidation phase, with countless idol-making companies (AI Agent creators) searching for beautiful faces (great character concepts), beautiful bodies (solid data sources and models), and beautiful talents (strong interactivity). Like gold miners, they are unearthing AI Agent KOLs waiting to be awakened and contributing all kinds of uncertainties to the next generation of Twitter traffic.

It’s hard to believe that in Twitter’s vast content dissemination market, so many agencies haven’t thoroughly studied Twitter’s recommendation algorithm. Instead, they let human KOLs work freely within set market prices and content boundaries. This is why the market is rife with diverse KOL agencies, large and small. This untamed nature indicates the lack of a structured system, and where there is no structure, there is opportunity. While Douyin has a mature Xingtu system and Xiaohongshu has Dandelion, Twitter lacks a comprehensive influencer monetization platform for KOLs. Although Elon Musk has introduced profit-sharing and subscription options for eligible influencers, many long-tail KOLs are left negotiating with agencies and taking sporadic jobs. As AI Agents enter the KOL track and continually capture traffic on Twitter, advertisers and human KOL agencies face rising costs and challenges, nearing a breaking point. It’s time to hit the accelerator and evolve into the era of AI influencer economics, building robust infrastructure and monetization pathways for AI influencers.

When I saw @ACTICOMMUNITY release ACT SWAP, it was a revelation. Isn’t this the prototype of an AI influencer advertising monetization platform? When AI Agent accounts can open APIs, payments are resolved via crypto channels, and content can switch seamlessly between custom and random generation, a complete path for commercial information dissemination is laid out before us. So I’ve been pondering: if I were to start an agency that mass-produces Twitter-algorithm-savvy AI Agent KOLs, signs existing top-tier AI Agent KOLs, serves as their exclusive agent, and establishes a complete AI Agent KOL advertising SOP, would anyone (friends or potential clients) be interested?

Of course, human KOLs need not worry. Your core competitive advantage remains your content. After all, from the messy Chinese posts recently shared by @truth_terminal, it’s clear there’s still a long way to go before AI Agents can surpass well-written human content. In fact, your content skills could even be reused to create your own personalized AI Agent KOLs. For example, @nihaovand told me he wants a compliment-bot AI Agent to provide positive emotional value in his comment section every day.

These scattered thoughts are coalescing into a powerful wave, with some ideas already in motion.
