The SEC has announced that it will "deeply study cooperation" with crypto projects, rebuilding trust while launching a high-profile crypto technology initiative, which is more sudden than Solana TPS. This regulatory body in the U.S. has finally realized: don’t treat Web3 as an enemy, but as a future "tax partner."
The plan includes: 🔹Researching on-chain identity systems 🔹Focusing on the controllability of stablecoins 🔹Testing the automation of smart contract compliance
In simple terms, they want to figure out: is it possible to create an "on-chain version of the SEC"? To make token audits, information disclosures, and circulation records completely transparent. This is not something that just any project can handle—you need to have a proper chain, proper coins, and proper people; it can't be the kind where "grandma's pension fund is swapping coins."
For project parties, the challenge is - can you prove: this coin of mine is not a security, but a revolutionary technological tool. Otherwise, just wait for the SEC to send you a letter of investigation.
