This Week All Eyes Are on the SEC! It Will Decide on Spot ETFs Involving Five Cryptocurrencies Including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP!
After the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the US, ETF applications were also made for many altcoins such as XRP, Solana (SOL).
Currently, it is expected that altcoin ETFs, primarily XRP and Solana ETFs, will receive approval by the end of 2025, while an ETF expert noted that the SEC will make a decision on an important matter this week.
According to this, The ETF Store president Nate Geraci stated that the SEC is preparing to make a final decision this week regarding the approval of Grayscale GDLC ETF.
The GDLC fund includes Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA).
Geraci, who shared from account X, stated that he believes the SEC will give the green light to Grayscale's GDLC ETF.
Nate Geraci believes that the Grayscale GDLC ETF has a high chance of approval and that this could pave the way for the approval of individual altcoin spot ETFs in the future.
